Thanks for the video. Is is possible to take a few clips, join them, change the default reframing but still upload them to UA-cam and allow user to look around from the reframing you did? It seems all you can do to retain the ability for youtube to recognize as 360 is just export a single video clip as 360 without changes?

This firmware includes a disaster feature. I have sent the following message to DJI: Please DJI remove this disaster firmware from the Osmo Pocket 3. I did a firmware upgrade. And now I have the following disastrous feature on my beloved Osmo P3: "Added cancel recording function. Users can press and hold the Shutter/Record button to cancel during recording. The footage will not be stored after cancelling....A disaster feature. Last weekend I lost several important video recordings because I pressed the red record button too long. Who comes up with something like that? To me, this makes the Osmo P3 an unreliable camera (you're kind of playing roulette with your recordings). Proposal: a) remove this feature via a firmware update; b) make the feature optional c) make the "press and Hold function" only work after 4 seconds.

I'm doubtful in buying a pocket 3 because how fragile and not weather proof it is. Is this setup better? People are saying that video quality is not really good with action 4.

It doesnt support android smartphones capturing videos beyond 30fps i heard. Is there a work around?

Thanks for another great video! I have an Osmo Action 4, and had been considering getting a Pocket 3, but this video made me wonder. After looking at Amazon reviews of this gimbal, they seemed a little mixed, but how are you getting on with it five months later please? It's my birthday soon, so would you recommend I think about asking for the Hohem, a different gimbal, or money towards the Pocket 3 please? From what I've seen, the Hohem doesn't eliminate all vibration, and one of the things I'd be wanting to do is run at 50fps, which of course means that the EIS wouldn't be contributing to the stability. Nice review. I find the HLM2 really attractive but the lack of internal recording is a deal breaker for me.

Mic 1 has a lot of hiss.

Action 4 has more conematic view than action 3 and action 4 night video is very nice than action 3 .but they are small changes both of them for beginners action 3 is best & also it is cost effective . Mostly we need audio capturing both are same in audio performance. You can simply go for action 3. Thanks Tamara nice review 👍

I completely disagree w/u; I’m not dome x game skateboarder that needs a gimbal or a go pro for vlogging; I like doing crafty stuff and this little camera does the trick.

i got a gopro and my issue with it that i think even the pocket 3 cant solve is that ...im fat, and when i do FPV the video goes left right side to side as i go forward 😂 it's not too big but it's obvious. i wonder if this will get it too

Question i have action 4 thinking about getting pocket 3 my main concern is in editing . Do both look the same so it wont look like i using 2 different camera can i set them all to be dlog 24 frame etc

I’ve got a functional question here when recording with the DJI mic 2 connected to the osmo3. I transfer the video files to my computer for editing, I also transfer the audio file from the mic and sync it all up. I’m then left with 3 audio tracks. Is transferring the mic audio unnecessary when it’s connected to the camera? I thought so initially, but they all seem to sound slightly different, and the audio directly from the mic is the one I end up using.
